- marshall and lily will stay in new york, as marshall becomes a judge and lily doesn’t go to italy.

- ted is going to ruin the wedding by giving robin the locket after the dance.

- the bandage in s08e01 on ted’s hand will have something to do with it.

- the mother can actually be seen in ted’s first lecture at columbia.

- I imagined her to be more… well, just bigger. a little taller and a little fuller. she looks too young and small to be a comparable age to ted. my initial reaction is that the casting was lacking a little… hopefully I’m wrong.

- the robin and barney part of the episode was really well written and acted out. some of the best scenes of the season. 

- the scene where lily said “be careful ted” was perfect. she was saying what I was thinking.

• was she the love solutions perfect match in 1x21? (possibly too young if she’s in school for that to be the case)
• does the fact she lives across from maggie infuriate you as much as it does me?
• are the kids actually ted’s kids? (more of just a I-require-absolute-confirmation thing)
• is her name tracy? (episode 1x09, kids reacted to the story about the “stripper” mom… why would that have been the case if her name wasn’t tracy?

• does ted end up naming his kids luke and leia?
• how does marshall save the world?
• what does barney do for gnb? (is he the pacific liasion of eastern asia for systems enterprises… or, PLEASE?)
• when does robin become a bull fighter?

• all the sign stories - no feeding llamas, no punching animals, no smoking on the carousel, etc.
• what is carl’s last name?
• what’s going to happen when the slap bet countdown expires?
• what is the deal with the fucking pineapple?
• did ted really pull off that three way?
